My friend Ron (Catfish to most) is selling his New Orleans "compound" (it really is). I'm sad for a couple of reasons. I won't have a free place to stay anymore and mostly because he's being driven from his home because of the appalling disregard our lame duck president has for rebuilding one of our country's greatest cities. New Orleans and it's people are completely defeated and it's a disgrace we let them down. I have some of the fondest memories of the people and places that can never be recreated or replaced now. It's too late.If you have a spare $635,000, it's a true bargain.
