My second visit to NYC I stayed at the The Algonquin. I had lunch in the infamous dining room next to the round table. In a New York moment, I pointed out excidedly and with much silly fanfare we were next to Norman. As the lunch crowd faded we lingered intently and drank iced-tea. We eavesdropped and heard all about his visit to the dentist and how his daughter was. I'll never forget it. Or him. God bless his legacy.
